Onsen Wet Room
Ice Bath
Refreshing and invigorating, the ice bath’s 9°c water stimulates and jump-starts the body’s natural healing energy and nerve endings. Our ice bath at our Koh Samui facility is the perfect way to end a day of training.
Cold water immersion has been practiced by athletes for centuries. Cultures worldwide have benefitted from the icy waters without fully understanding the science, but now, research is revealing that taking regular ice baths can help with recovery, reduce pain, alleviate depression and anxiety, lower stress, stimulate weight loss, and improve mood and brain function.
Himalayan Salt Wall Sauna Room
The benefits of the Himalayan salt sauna cannot be underestimated.
The temperature in our dry heat sauna rises between 70°c and 85°c to encourage sweating, open the pores, cleanse the skin, and detoxify the body. On top of that, Himalayan salt is rich in negative ions and essential nutrients and minerals and has also been proven to increase the levels of serotonin in the body which are reported to benefit digestion, memory, sleep, appetite, and mood.
Himalayan salt air can also help stimulate the respiratory system too, providing a positive impact on its natural ability to reduce inflammation, clear blockages, fight infections, and reduce discomfort, making it tremendously beneficial for those who suffer from asthma, allergies, or coughs.
Traditional Thai Herbal Steam Room
A steam room session is more than just a pastime because there are many health benefits associated with a steam bath.
First of all, it will help you relax and unwind and relieve joint and muscle pain after a long day of training hard at our gym.
At 100% humidity, steam saunas are more hydrating for your skin than dry saunas. The steam’s wet heat will help open the pores and detoxify the skin. This detoxification process is thought to balance many health problems, including hypertension, inflammation, and stress.
Regular steam room use has also been shown to reduce the incidences of colds and influenza and improve skin health, helping to get rid of stubborn skin blemishes.
Hot Mineral Bath
Our hot bath is mentally and physically stress relieving, with water heated up to 40°c.
It relaxes the mind and muscles, while the mineral content of the water helps to alleviate numerous ailments.
Regular use of the hot bath has been proven to help reduce stress levels and insomnia, the results indicate that soaking in hot water before bedtime leads to deeper, more restful, and continuous sleep.
